Lee Eagleton

Hi, I am Lee and work as a Support Educator, Monday to Friday across all groups. I am privileged to get to know all the children as I replace staff on breaks, for programming and planning and assist as needed.

My relationship with St Stephen’s began in 2012 when I was offered a Traineeship to complete my Certificate III in Children’s Services. I feel so blessed to be able to work in this community.

I have had more than 18 years experience working with children aged 0-5 in both Long Day Care and Preschool. I believe that the early years are the most important in a child’s life and that good quality early childhood educational programs provide the best foundations for a child’s future. I also believe that children learn best through play.

I have not had the privilege of having children of my own but have a niece living in Melbourne who I try to visit as much as possible.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, my favourite books are historical novels and murder mysteries, spending time with family and friends and all things art and craft. I like card making, beading and cross stitch, though I will give anything a go! I am also active in my local church, Hornsby Baptist
