Lee Eagleton

Hi, I am Lee and work as an Educator 4 days per week. This year I will be working with the Bilbies on Mondays and Tuesdays and the working with the Dolphins on Thursdays and Fridays.

My relationship with St Stephen’s began in 2012 when I was offered a Traineeship to complete my Certificate III in Children’s Services. I feel so blessed to be able to work in this community.

I have had more than 20 years experience working with children aged 0-5 in both Long Day Care and Preschool. I believe that the early years are the most important in a child’s life and that good quality early childhood educational programs provide the best foundations for a child’s future. I also believe that children learn best through play and that children need to feel safe and secure in order to thrive.

I have not had the privilege of having children of my own but have a niece that currently lives in Canberra. She is 9 years old. Often I will visit her in the holidays. We do craft and play games together. She is teaching me to play Mario Cart and Mario Party on her Nintendo Switch.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, my favourite books are historical novels and murder mysteries, spending time with family and friends and all things art and craft. I like card making, beading and cross stitch, though I will give anything a go! I am also active in my local church, Northern Life Baptist Church.
